Privacy & safety

Children deserve help and privacy.

Ronveo Technologies is being designed for deliberate help requests, not unnecessary monitoring. Any future school pilot must establish clear controls before student data is involved.

01

School-controlled access

Our intended model lets schools authorize which adults can see and respond to help requests. Roles and permissions must be tested and agreed upon before deployment.

02

Only necessary information

We aim to minimize what is collected, who can access it, and how long it is retained. Those details require school policies and written agreements.

03

FERPA-aware by design

We intend to support schools' obligations under FERPA. Legal review, appropriate agreements, and verified technical controls are required before making compliance claims.

04

Human-centered safety

The device would supplement school procedures, not replace teachers, counselors, emergency systems, or mandated reporting and escalation practices.

Privacy isn't something a school should have to trade away just to hear a child asking.
Clear limits

What we won't pretend.

The complete service is not yet validated. This website does not claim a FERPA certification, guaranteed delivery, guaranteed location accuracy, or guaranteed adult arrival.

The proposed pilot must review data handling, authorization, system failures, retention, and response procedures with participating schools before involving students.

For school administrators

Privacy questions worth asking

  • Who receives a request and why?
  • What information is actually needed?
  • What happens when no adult acknowledges it?
  • What gets recorded, and for how long?
  • What is the school's backup process?
